The CSV import wizard with the Pipedrive preset

Overview

This guide walks you through exporting your data from Pipedrive CRM and importing it into OneBob. The process involves three main data types:

Organizations (imported as Customers)
Persons (imported as Customer Contacts)
Deals

Estimated time: 15-30 minutes depending on your data volume.

Before You Begin

You need admin access in both Pipedrive and OneBob.
Import organizations first, then persons, then deals. This preserves the relationships between records.
OneBob's import wizard has a built-in Pipedrive preset that automatically maps columns for you.
You can undo any import within 24 hours if something goes wrong.

4Select the fields you want to export (at minimum: Organization, Phone, Email, Address, Owner).

Tips & Best Practices

Import order matters: always import organizations first, then persons, then deals. This ensures that persons and deals can be linked to their parent organizations.
Use the duplicate check: OneBob's import wizard can skip or update existing records if you re-import. Choose "Skip duplicates" for a safe first import.
Check the preview carefully: the import wizard shows you exactly how your data will be mapped before you commit. Verify that key fields like organization name and email are correctly mapped.
Undo if needed: every import can be rolled back within 24 hours from the import history page.
Custom fields: if you have Pipedrive custom fields that don't match OneBob's preset mapping, you can manually map them in the column mapping step.

Field Mapping Reference

The tables below show how Pipedrive CSV columns are automatically mapped to OneBob fields when you select the Pipedrive preset.

Organizations → Customers

Pipedrive Column OneBob Field
Organization company_name
Phone phone
Email email
Address street
Organization - Address - City city
Organization - Address - ZIP/Postal code postal_code
Organization - Address - Country country
Owner assigned_to
Label status

Persons → Customer Contacts

Pipedrive Column OneBob Field
First name first_name
Last name last_name
Email email
Phone phone
Organization company (lookup)
Job title position
Note notes

Deals

Pipedrive Column OneBob Field
Title deal_name
Value value
Pipeline pipeline
Stage stage
Organization customer (lookup)
Expected close date expected_close_date
Owner assigned_to
Label source

Deal probability is intentionally not auto-mapped. OneBob's weighted pipeline uses each stage's probability by default, so we don't override it from your file. To keep per-deal probabilities, map the column manually on the mapping step using a 0-100 percent scale.
